Stephen E. Row, 62, who was president and owner of Klon O. Row, a
toilet partition and accessories distributor based in Gaithersburg, died
Feb. 1 at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney of complications
from liver cancer. He lived in Gaithersburg.
Mr. Row's company was started by his father in 1953. He joined the
family business as a project manager in 1976 and took over as
president in 1981.
Stephen Eugene Row, a District native, was a 1966 graduate of
Woodrow Wilson High School and served in the 1st Infantry Division
in Vietnam. He was a past board chairman of the 1st Infantry Division
Foundation, in which he helped organize scholarship programs.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, the former Nancy Tocci, and
their two children, Kathryn Row and Thomas Row, all of
Gaithersburg; and three sisters, Pamela Row of Mountain View, Calif.,
Dorothy Row of Riverdale and Marsha Nicholson of Springfield.
