MARGARET RULE JAMES (Age 89) "Peggy"
Died of natural causes on February 16, 2011 in
Miami, FL. Mrs. James was a native of Washington,
DC and a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School
and American University. She was a member of Delta
Gamma sorority and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Lt. Colonel William
C. James, Jr., USMC retired.
She is survived by three children; son Rule "Kip" (Debbie) of Silver
Spring, MD. son Will "Scooter" (Lixion Avila) of Miami, FL; daughter,
Kristen Holder (Robert) of Charleston, SC and four grandchildren;
Benjamin, Brian, Jackson, and Linden.
Services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. on
Tuesday, May 17.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
