JOHN GUS HARRIS (Age 85) On Saturday, May 23, 2009, John Gus
Harris, of Seffner, FL, formerly of Washington, DC. He was the loving
father of Athena Hazel (Brian), Gus Harris, Christine VanderSchuur
(Eric), George Harris (Wendy) and the late Paul Harris; brother of Bess
Bonanno, Mary Georgopoulos and Chris Harris. Also survived by 10
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may
call at COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 500 University Blvd., West, Silver
Spring, MD, Thursday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., where service will be held
on Friday, May 29, at 1 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society,
11331 Amherst Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902.
