JOANNE GARBER LOUGHRAN 2/16/1931 - 2/7/2008 On Thursday, February 7, 2008, peacefully at home following a long illness. Loving mother of Michael, Patrick and Diana Kyber (John); beloved Nana of TJ. Kevin and Caitlin Kyber, Sarah and Connor Loughran. Predeceased by her son, Tommy in 1989. Joanne was a unique woman with a true zest for living. Until her illness, she was an avid world traveler. One of her proudest achievements was making two holes in one at Needwood Golf Course. She was a member of The Red Hats and stayed very active with them. Joanne will be missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 10 a.m. at North Bethesda United Methodist Church, 10100 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD 20817. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Montgomery Hospice, 1335 Piccard St., Rockville, MD 20850.
