Frank Glenn Rule, 82, who worked for the Naval Sea Systems Command for almost 30 years, died Feb. 6 at Concord
Hospital in New Hampshire of complications from a cerebral hematoma.

Mr. Rule was director of the gun weapons systems subgroup of NAVSEA's surface weapons systems command. He
began working for the Navy in 1962 and retired in 1990.

was born in Van Wert, Ohio. He grew up in Washington and graduated from
Woodrow Wilson High School in 1945.
He joined the Army upon high school graduation and served in the United States. After his discharge, he graduated from
Washington State University in Pullman.

He moved to Arlington County and worked for what is now the Sperry Corp. until switching to federal service.

He moved to New Hampshire in the early 1990s.

A daughter, Pam Rule, died in 1989.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Jean A. Rule of Pembroke, N.H.; two children, Matthew Glenn Rule of Pismo
Beach, Calif., and Lisa A. Rule of Pembroke; and two grandchildren.
