ELIZABETH HEATH PARIS BISSETT "Liz" The owner and director of
the Norbeck Montessori Center in Rockville, died September 10, 2010 at
the Washington Hospital Center of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
Liz was born and raised in Washington D.C. and graduated from Woodrow
Wilson High School and the Washington Montessori Institute. In 1975, Liz
founded her school on Muncaster Mill Road and worked continuously at the
school as a teacher and administrator until her death.
Liz is survived by her husband, Dr. Wyatt Bissett; two sons, Ryan W.
Bissett and his wife Tara A. Bissett; Britt P. Bissett and his girlfriend
Katherine Dorman; one grandchild, Aidan Bissett; two brothers, Henry
(Sonny) Paris and Charles David Paris; and two sisters, Sabra Smith and
Suzy Coble.
The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the
Redland Baptist Church in Rockville, MD at 5 p.m.
