
DAVID L. FOWLER (Age 55)
Of Ashburn, VA passed away at home on January 19, 2008 surrounded by his family. He was born on September
26, 1952 in Heidelberg, Germany. David was a 1970 graduate of Woodrow Wilson, a 1974 graduate of the U.S.
Military Academy at West Point and a 1981 graduate of Georgetown University Law School. David held various
leadership positions with Raytheon Company the past 19 years, most recently as Vice President and General
Counsel for RTSC. A former Major, JAGC, he served 15 years in the United States Army. David was the beloved
husband of Cindy Fowler; loving son of the late COL James D. Fowler, USA, (Ret.) and Romay Lucas Fowler;
brother of Dianne F. Reason of Washington, DC and James D. Fowler, Jr. of Leesburg, VA. Also survived by eight
nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Fort Myer Old Post Chapel at
9 a.m. Inurnment will immediately follow with Full Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery. Family and
friends are invited to gather at the Army and Navy Club on Farragut Square, Friday, February 1, 2008, 6 to 8 PM.
