CALLIOPE TSOULIAS BRAUN 'Katina' On January 26, 2008, CALLIOPE TSOULIAS
BRAUN of Edgewater, MD. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Bernhardt
'Bernie' J. Braun, Jr.; her children, Peterjohn (Laura) Morfessis of New Windsor, MD,
Ioanna Morfessis of Phoenix, AZ, Dimitrios (Stamatia) Morfessis of Rockville, MD,
Chrisanthe Morfessis of Phoenix, AZ and Mark Braun (Ione) of Bowie, MD.;
grandchildren, Michael Keith and Stephanie Morfessis, both of New Windsor, MD;
sister, Panagiota (Nicholas) Babbis of Wheaton, MD; and many in-laws, nieces,
nephews and friends to miss her eternal love and gentleness. A private family
service was held on Monday, January 28, 2008 at George F. Kalas Funeral Home in
Edgewater, MD. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2008, 10 a.m. at
Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Annapolis, 2747 Riva Road,
Annapolis, MD 21401. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions
be made to the Calliope Tsoulias Braun Memorial Fund for Women, Children and the
Elderly, c/o Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County, 914 Bay Ridge Road,
Suite 211, Annapolis, MD 21401.
