Bernard B. Greenbaum

Bernard Ball Greenbaum, 87, a property manager for Washington area real estate developer Melvin Gelman and a volunteer Big
Brother to the city's juvenile offenders, died Sept. 5 at North Ridge Medical Center in Oakland Park, Fla. He had congestive heart
failure.
Mr. Greenbaum was a native Washingtonian and a graduate of  Wilson High School. He served as an Army police officer in
Europe during World War II.
He worked for Gelman and was a Big Brother until moving to Sunapee, N.H., in 1969, where he worked in a bank and was
involved in outdoor activities. He settled in Pompano Beach, Fla., in 1976.
