Vera Roberts Cole

       VERA ROBERTS COLE

     Passed away in her sleep on January 24, 2011, at Sunrise Retirement
Home in Fair Oaks, Virginia.

     She was 84 years old. Born in Washington, DC to Vera Marie Fraile
and James W. Roberts, she graduated from
Western High School and Pratt
University.

     Vera worked as an art teacher, a naval illustrator and an interior designer
living in Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia. Her hobbies included painting and
crossword puzzles. Vera was a member of NHFL, Tall Fashions, NRA,
Civil Air Patrol and Parkinson's Support Group.

     At 16 years old, she received her pilot's license in place of driver's
license.

     Survived by daughter, Cynthia Marie Cole; nephew, James Roberts;
step-son, Barrett Smith; granddaughter, Ashley Lynn Bevensee; and
grandsons, Dustin Lee Bevensee and Cristopher Barrett Ford. Predeceased
by her loving husband, Arthur Barrett Cole and son, Christopher Renee Cole.

     Service will he held on February, 23, at 3 p.m. at Fort Myer Post
Chapel, Arlington, Virginia. The inurnment will follow at Arlington National
Cemetery.
