Roberta Beauregard, 76, human resources administrator at the Roy F. Weston environmental cleanup company from 1983 to 1994, died
Sept. 4. at her home in Silver Spring. She had scleroderma, a disease of the connective tissue.
Earlier in her career, Mrs. Beauregard was an administrative assistant at NUS Corp. of Gaithersburg, an environmental and engineering
firm, and for the defense contractor Vitro Corp. After retiring from Weston, she spent several years as a church secretary at Wheaton
Presbyterian Church.
Roberta DeCroes was born in Pittsburgh and raised in Washington, where she graduated from the old Western High School.
She wasa member of Millian Memorial United Methodist Church in Rockville.
Her husband, Roger Beauregard, whom she married in 1952, died in 1962. A son, Michael Beauregard, died in 2005.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeannette Carlson of Olney; a brother, Steven DeCroes of York, Pa.; three sisters, Judy Coffren of Easton, Md.,
Kathy Richard of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Carol Lloyd of Fredericksburg; and four grandchildren.
