Richard A. Trammell, 93, who spent much of his career as a clerk at D.C.
Superior Court, died April 7 at Ingleside at Rock Creek retirement community
in Washington after a stroke.

Richard Alexander Trammell, a lifelong Washingtonian, was a graduate of
Western High School and what is now George Washington University Law
School. He served in the Army in Europe during World War II.

His memberships included the American Legion, Trinity Presbyterian Church
in Bethesda and the Fossils men's organization.

His wife of 56 years, Kathryn Ziaya Trammell, died in 2004.

He had no immediate survivors.
