

MARY CRAMER OLIVER
1922 -2010
Beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother and friend, Mrs. Oliver was a
longtime Chevy Chase, MD resident. She passed
away on November 11, 2010. She grew up in
Washington, DC and the Philippines and traveled
extensively in Asia. An alumna of Western High School, William and Mary
College, and GWU she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma and Psi
Chi. Mary worked as a law firm office manager and as an association
executive.
She actively volunteered with Suburban Hospital and Bethesda Cares and
was a member of Columbia Country Club and the Poplar Island Yacht Club.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Major General Myron and Esther
Cramer; her husband, E. Rogers Oliver; her sister, Emily Van Sickle and her
former husband, Tom Watson O'Bryon. She is survived by her children,
Tom O'Bryon II of Chevy Chase, David O'Bryon of Bethesda, MD, Kevin
O'Bryon of Metairie, LA, Laurie O'Bryon of Kensington, MD, Mary Oliver
Morris of Asheville, NC, Clark Oliver of Kensington, 14 grandchildren and
11 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Service at All Saints Church, Chevy Chase, MD Saturday, November 13,
2010 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial
contributions may be made to Bethesda Cares or Montgomery Hospice.
