Jean K. Sherier, 88, a retired publications director at the American
Physical Therapy Association, died Nov. 6 at the Iliff Nursing Home in
Dunn Loring, where she had lived for the last seven years. She had heart
ailments, said her niece, Anne M. Rutherford.

worked in the publishing arena throughout her career in jobs that included
layout, advertizing, distribution, writing and editing.
Her employers included Mechanization Inc., a firm that published trade

She retired from the American Physical Therapy Association in the late
1980s.
She had no immediate survivors.
