HELEN VIRGINIA QUIMBY "Ginny" Aunt Ginny "was a shooting star."
On Monday, June 28, 2010, Ginny was born February 25, 1921 in Hickory
Hill, NC. She moved to Washington DC when she was seven years old and
graduated from
Western High School in 1939.

She came from a family of 10 brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by
her first husband, Bernie Morris. She is survived by her husband, John L.
Quimby, daughters Sandy Ellis (husband, Al Ellis), and Vicki Burrows
(husband, Jerry Burrows), brothers, Ralph and Richard Fortune, sister,
Eloise Moran, step-children, Monica Quimby McClean, Gregory, Pete and
Danny Quimby, grandchildren, Andrew, Jennifer and Jarret Burrows, Josh
Ellis, Mike and Jennifer Fahey, Jason Quimby, Erica Vasconcellos, Seth,
Pam and Kyle Quimby, and many great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to Ginny''s Life Celebration on Wednesday,
June 30 from 3 to 6 P.M. at GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME,
6160 Oxon Hill Rd. Oxon Hill, MD 20745 where services will be held on
Thursday, July 1 at 11 a.m.

Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. Repass following
the service will be at the VFW in Morningside, MD.
