Emily McConville Ireland

Emily McConville Ireland, 103, who spent more than 20 years as a clerk with the Justice Department lands division before
retiring in the late 1960s, died Oct. 12 at Sibley Memorial Hospital after a stroke.
Mrs. Ireland, a Bethesda resident, was a native Washingtonian and a graduate of   Western High School. She spent much of
her early life as a secretary.
She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and did volunteer work for the Republican Party in Montgomery
County.
Her marriage to Curtis Ireland ended in divorce.
She has no immediate survivors.
