Elizabeth "Betty" B. Dietrich, 92, who worked in administrative roles for the Federal Housing Authority from 1934 until her retirement in 1969,
died Sept. 15 of congestive heart failure at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, where she lived since the late 1980s.
From 1972 until 1982 she was a part-time clothing sales representative for the Hecht Co. in Silver Spring.
Elizabeth Florence Bethea, a native Washingtonian, was a 1934 graduate of Western High School.
Her husband of 25 years, John R. Dietrich, died in 1965.
Survivors include two children, Aileen Ferguson of Boyds, John R. Dietrich Jr. of Mechanicsville, Va.; and four grandchildren.
