Donald Albert Dean

     Donald "Don" Albert, died at the age of 79 at his home near Tucson,
Arizona. Born May 23, 1931 in Buffalo, New York, to Lois (Burlingham)
Dean. Spent a great part of his childhood at Santa Cruz County's Little
Outfit ranch school. Also spent some time at his mother's grandparents' farm
in Perry, NY.

     Graduated from
Western High School in Washington, DC. Served in
the Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Oriskany during Korean War.

     Alumnus of George Washington University. Don lived in Washington,
DC, Marblehead, MA and Florida before settling near Tucson. As a
salesman and entrepreneur, he traveled all over the world in the search for
unusual products to sell or in search of customers. His first job was scouting
Mobile gas station locations in the Canary Islands.

     An avid traveler, he attended almost every summer Olympics for
decades, and made many visits to Europe and Africa. Don was very active
in Oriskany veteran and Little Outfit alumni activities.

     No funeral will be held. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery. A
memorial is planned at the Little Outfit. Arrangements by ADAIR
