BETTY JO BROMLEY
11/11/1937 - 8/21/2011
Betty Jo passed into the hands of the Lord on August 21, 2011 after a
brief illness. She was born in Georgetown on Nov. 11, 1937, graduated
from Western High School in 1956, and worked for The Chesapeake and
Potomac Telephone Company for many years before retiring.
Betty enjoyed travelling, and took great pride in her country and her
family's long presence here. She was a kind and gentle person who will be
greatly missed by all who knew her.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, George Arthur and Alta
Mae Bromley.
She is survived by her cousins, Marlane Fretz of California, Pamela
Gibson of Maryland, Wendy Dunlap of Florida, David Fretz of Virginia, and
Robert Huffaker of California.
A viewing followed by a graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on
September 19 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland MD.
