

COLUMBIA - The Home Going service for Mr. Jimmie Lee Williams will be held
on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Antioch Baptist Church, Bowman, S.C. at 1:00
p.m.
Mr. Williams went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 9, 2010 after
an extended illness. He was born August 3, 1941 to the late George and Alline
Glover Williams.
He was educated in the public schools of Bowman, S.C.
Wake services will be held Friday evening October 15, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at
Zion Baptist Church, 801 Washington Street, Columbia, S.C. Bethea's Funeral
Home of Orangeburg, S.C. is serving the family.
He leaves to cherish his memories, the love of his life, a loving and devoted wife
of 49 years, Katherine Deloris Johnson Williams; two children, Jimmie Andre and
Angel Marie Williams; a special daughter and niece, Deserie Gordon; god-daughter
and niece Kimberly Alline (Antwan) Chavis-Davis of Bowie Maryland;
god-daughter and cousin Tolay Cheeks; two sisters, Carrie Moorer of Capital
Heights, Maryland and Shirley (Milton) Chavis of Washington, D.C; two special
brothers, Malachi (Malo) Cobbs of St. George, S.C. and Roger Goodwin of Ft.
Washington, Maryland; seven sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law and a host of
nieces, nephews and many, many relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank all of the health care providers who gave great
loving care over many months of declining health to our love one.
