EDWARD GEORGE JOSEPH, JR. On Friday, April 3, 2009, EDWARD GEORGE JOSEPH, JR. of Northeast
Washington, DC was called home to the Lord. Beloved husband of Nora Ruth (McFatridge) Joseph and
devoted father of Edward George Joseph, III. Born in Southeast DC, August 10, 1944, "Eddie" attended
St. Peter''s Catholic School, Hines Junior High School. He then attended Chamberlain Trade School. Joining
the Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis, he was later stationed in Corpus Christi, TX, where he met and
married Nora, his wife of 45 years. He leaves behind four sisters, Sandra Joseph Elliott, Patricia Morris-Miller,
Jane Phillips and Shirley Weeks. He also leaves behind two brothers, Luther Scott and Charles Morris, nieces,
nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Services will be held Saturday, April 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church, 2021
Rhode Island Avenue, NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis de Sales Parish.
