Dennis R. Krell Dennis R. Krell, 69, of Dumfries, VA died February 20, 2011
at Potomac Hospital.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jane Krell, daughter, Sherry
Krell Paukei and husband Bertrand Paukei of Bristow, VA; son, Dennis R. Krell,
Jr. of Fredericksburg, VA; and three grandchildren, Tyler Paukei, Caleb Paukei,
and Jenna Paukei of Bristow, VA. Dennis is also survived by his sister, Diane
Milazzo and niece Denise Bradley and family, great niece Danielle Begole and
family of Niagara Falls, NY and many in-laws, nieces and nephews that will miss
him dearly.
Dennis proudly served his country for eight years as a Sergeant in the United
States Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War. He received many medals
and citations during his service.
Dennis was employed by the Washington Post newspaper as a Mailroom
Supervisor and retired after 25 years of service.
Dennis enjoyed fishing, playing cards, visiting with neighbors and feeding the
squirrels while sitting on his bench in his yard. He was also known for his great
love of animals.
He was loved by all and his family and friends will cherish his memory
forever. There will be a visitation at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd.,
Woodbridge, VA from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on February 23. Funeral services will be
held on February 24, at Miller Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow
with military honors at Stonewall Memory Gardens.
FAMILY CHAIN: We little knew that day, God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose
you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you
home. You Left us beautiful memories; Your love is still our guide. And although
we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And
nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
