Charles Donaldson Charles "Buddy" Thomas Donaldson, 75, of Clarksburg, a life long resident of greater Washington, D.C., died April 18 in Olney of cancer.
Born August 27,1934 in Washington D.C., he attended Suitland High School.
He had worked at the Washington Post, Foreman, mail room, he retired 1982.
He was a coach and a mentor who enjoyed living life to the fullest, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Donaldson who died in 2008. They married in 1954.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Donaldson Jr. of White Plains, Michael Donaldson of Clarksburg, and one daughter, Cindy of Bowie; one brother, Dennis Donaldson of The Villages, Fla.; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Visitation is Thursday, April 22, 6-9 p.m. at Hardesty Funeral Home, Gambrills. Funeral services are Friday, April 23, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715.
