This note is to inform you of the death of Robert Frank Weismiller '49 on July 16,
2014.  Bob died peacefully at his home in Leesburg, Va with his wife of 63 years by his
side, Anne Simmons, Eastern '50
Robert F. Weismiller, 84, of Leesburg, VA, went to be with the
Lord on Wednesday, July 16, 2014.

Born May 19, 1930, he is the son of the late Margaret and Frank
Weismiller and loving husband of Anne Simmons Weismiller.

Bob, a lifelong residence of the Washington, DC area passed
away peacefully with his wife of 63 years by his side. Bob
started his career as an officer with the DC Metropolitan Police
Department. In 1977 he retired at the young age of 47 from
GEICO as a claims officer. After retiring Bob and Anne spent
their summers in Ocean City, MD. He enjoyed doing
construction projects, co-owning the Carousel Bakery and
spending his days on the beach with his grandchildren and
great grandchildren.

Over the last 20 years Bob and Anne traveled extensively
visiting all fifty states and cruising eighty-seven countries.

Bob will be greatly missed by his many family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Anne Hedges(David).

He is survived by his two sons Robert Blaine(Debbie) and Gary Lane Weismiller
(Angela), seven grandchildren, Kristin Anne Weismiller, David Brock Hedges (Brooke),
Robert Frank Weismiller (Tasia), Michael Brett Hedges (Jenn), Christopher Robert
Weismiller (Kelly), Bryan Robert Hedges (Kelly), Thomas Drew Weismiller (Heather)
seven great grandchildren, Trey, Brayden, Cameron, Bryce Hedges and Payton, Piper,
and Tristan Weismiller; and two siblings, Ronnie Weismiller(Susan) and Sue Wells
(Rich)

Services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral
Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV at 12:00 Noon.

A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service.

Internment will immediately follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown, WV.

A celebration of life will be held at the Clarion Hotel in Shepherdstown, WV at 2:00 pm.
