Doris Alberta Donaldson Kinder

Doris Donaldson Kinder, 86, passed away on April 19, 2018, at Sweetgrass Village of Mount
Pleasant, South Carolina after several years of declining health.  

Doris was born on November 24, 1931, in Washington, D.C.  and was the only daughter of
Rhett and Sue Welch Donaldson. Doris was a graduate of
McKinley Technical High School

in Washington, D.C.  

She retired as a civilian employee of the United States Navy after 27 years of service.  Doris
made her home in Annandale, Virginia with her husband of 56 years for her entire adult life until
the last few months when she was widowed and her health declined.

Doris was an avid Redskins fan and spent her healthy years attending Redskins games and
world traveling.  Doris was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and entertaining, and spending  
leisure time at her vacation home in Boca Raton.

Doris was predeceased by her husband,
Donald C. Kinder, 02-02-18

She is survived by her two children, Denise Boiko and husband Mike of Isle of Palms, South
Carolina, and Douglas Rinaca and wife, Freada,  of Union, South Carolina.  Grandchildren
include Danielle Goglia (Michael) of Millstone, New Jersey; Rhett Rinaca (Kristy) of Laurens,
South Carolina; and Franklin Rinaca ( Danielle) of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and six
great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
