Mildred Gemeny Giorgi, 78, a native Washingtonian and former resident of Vienna, where she was a choir member and nursery supervisor
at Providence Baptist Church, died March 21, 2005 at a nursing home in Livermore, Calif. She had lung cancer.
Mrs. Giorgi was a 1945 graduate of McKinley Technical High School and was a typist until the early 1950s for Peoples Life Insurance Co.
in the District.
She was a former troop leader and leadership trainer for the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital.
She moved to California from Vienna in 1978.
Her marriage to Warren C. Anderson ended in divorce. Her next two husbands died, Wilbur A. Neale in 1977 and Roland G. Giorgi in 1998.
Survivors include two daughters from her first marriage, Kathryn Anderson Alvestad of Prince Frederick and Carol Anderson Ham of
Pleasanton, Calif.; two daughters from her second marriage, Anne Neale Dunn of Culpeper and Susan Neale Kilmer of Dublin, Calif.; and
three stepsons, William A. Neale of Manassas, Robert A. Neale of DeLand, Fla., and Ralph Thomas Tom Neale of Dublin, Ohio; 16
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mildred Gemeny Giorgi
