Lawrence S. House, a life-long resident of the Washington-Baltimore area, who was
well-known as a collector of antique trains and toys, died on Friday, January 25, 2008, of
congestive heart failure. He was 80 years old. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on
Saturday, February 2 at the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, 13925 New Hampshire
Ave., Colesville, MD 20904. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the church,
part of which will be used to plant a tree in his memory on church property.
