University and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Graduate School. From 1946 to 1949, she worked for the District's board of education.

In 1950, she joined the congressional staff of Rep. James B. Frazier Jr. (D-Tenn.) and worked on Capitol Hill until 1957, when she resigned
to raise her family.

Mrs. Ehrle returned to the workforce in 1972 and was secretary to the director of continuing education on the Alexandria campus of
Northern Virginia Community College until her retirement in 1995. She received the college's Distinguished Service Award.

She volunteered for the Red Cross, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Air Force Officers' Wives' Club and children's library groups in Alexandria.
She enjoyed gardening and was proud to have voted in every election, national or local, for which she was eligible.

Her marriage to Raymond Ehrle ended in divorce.

Survivors include two children, John Ehrle of Bowie and Richard Ehrle of Fredericksburg; and two grandchildren.
