Nicholas Aloysius Curtin

Nicholas A. Curtin, 39, a sales manager for Ellen's Futons in Fairfax City from
2005 until last month, died Aug. 17 at Reston Hospital Center of cardiac arrest. He
had been a Reston resident.

Before working as a sales manager, Mr. Curtin had been an operations manager
for the Sandhills Bank in Reston. From 1994 to 2001, he worked in security for
Neiman Marcus in the District.

Nicholas Aloysius Curtin was a native Washingtonian and a 1990 graduate of
St.
John's College High School
in the District. He was a golfer and worked over the
years at Chevy Chase Country Club and River Bend Golf and Country Club in
Great Falls.

He coached youth basketball and was in a bowling league in College Park.
He was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Reston and the
Knights of Columbus.  

Survivors include his wife of four years, Erin Gaule Curtin of Reston; his parents,
Joseph and Margaret Curtin of Silver Spring; a brother, Daniel J. Curtin of Silver
Spring; three sisters, Karen Grau and Patricia Buccheri, both of Rockville, and
Margaret Kahl of Princess Anne, Md.
