John Byron Patrick
MEMORIAL

John Byron "Pat" Patrick, a 45-year resident who was one of the founding
families of Crofton, died July 25 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Mr. Patrick graduated from
St. John's ROTC High School in 1948 and the
University of Maryland in 1956. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines from
August 1948 until 1952. He was a long-time Sales Representative for Johnson &
Johnson.

He was a member of American Legion Squadron #7 in Crownsville and Elks
Lodge #2301 on Defense Highway in Crofton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Conte Patrick.

He is survived by three sons, Thomas Patrick and his wife Linda of Gambrills,
Robert Patrick and his wife Pati of Riva and Michael "Scott" Patrick of Crofton;
three step-children, Joette Waters and her husband Blake Gardiner of Mt. Airy,
Nancy Dawson and her husband Tom of Davidsonville and Richard Conte of
Clarksville; and ten grandchildren, Byron, Shaun, Meghan and Neil Patrick,
Jessica and Gina Conte, Nicholas and Lisa Waters and Rachele and Valerie
Dawson. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on both Saturday, July 31 and
Sunday, August 1 at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW
Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 2 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church,
1800 Seton Dr., Crofton. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
