JAMES C. POLITZ
On Sunday, August 7, 2011 of Frederick, MD. Beloved husband of Marsha
Lee Politz for 53 years. He is survived by four children Cynthia Hollis, Janice
Politz, Robert Politz and Debra Ellerbe; 10 grandchildren; brother Richard Politz;
cousin Joanne Lindsey; mother-in-law Dorothy Funkhouser and his beloved dog
Willey Wonka.
James attended St. John's College High School where he graduated in 1953
and then went on to receive his Bachelor's degree from George Washington
University in 1957.
James was an avid fisherman and boater. He was very passionate about the
ocean. James also was a dedicated Notre Dame football and basketball fan. He
was extremely brilliant and admired by his friends and colleagues as a mentor.
A Requiem Mass will be offered Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 2 p.m. at St.
John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 118 East 2nd Street, Frederick, MD.
