

Ruth Marie Wolff, 86, a 31-year resident of Heritage Harbour in Annapolis
and previously of Adelphi, died February 28 at her residence after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 21, 1925, in Washington, D.C., where she graduated
from Roosevelt High School in 1943.
Ruth was a vestry woman at The Church of Our Saviour, Hillandale and
most recently was a member at St. James Episcopal Church in Lothian. She
enjoyed golf and was a volunteer at the Caring Collection.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild.
She is survived by her husband, David Wolff, whom she married June 1,
1944; four children, Russell Wolff of Monrovia, Richard Wolff of Vienna, Va.,
and Nancy Knotts and Cindy Wren, both of Elkridge; seven grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to Ruth's Life Celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8
p.m. on Wednesday, March 2 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973
Solomons Island Road, Edgewater.
The funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, March 3 at St.
James Episcopal Church, 5757 Solomons Island Road, Lothian. Interment
Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
