Marvin Biskar
MARVIN BISKAR April 17, 1927 - June 14, 2009 Marvin Biskar (82) passed away peacefully at his home on June 14,
2009. Loving husband of Ida for 59 years, he is also survived by his children, Stephen (Dawn) and Daniel (Peg); and
grandchildren, Kevin, Mateo, Michael, and Elizabeth. Marvin was born and raised in Washington, DC, along with his
brothers, Arnold and Herbert and sister, Ada. He graduated
Roosevelt High (45) and then served in the Army in WWII.
He later attended George Washington University on the GI Bill. After he and Ida married in 1950, they relocated to
Los Angeles. For those of us who knew, loved, and respected him, he was a man of principle, wise and humorous,
ethical in his personal and business dealings, and with a strong sense of right and wrong. He will be deeply missed.
Service arrangements pending.
