Gloria Caruso Condatore, 82, an executive secretary for more than 30 years in what is now the Department of Health and Human Services,
died May 24 at Montgomery General Hospital of complications from a stroke. She lived in Silver Spring.
A native Washingtonian, she graduated from Roosevelt High School. She retired in 1990 from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health
Services Administration at HHS.
Her marriage to Frank M. Condatore ended in divorce.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Roberson of Kensington and Anita Besmen of Rockville; a brother; three grandsons; and six
great-grandchildren.
