"Mr. Kramer was a very special man, always wearing a smile and laughing. He
and his family were a very special part of my childhood. Love to the family."
Susan Vlahos (Mt. Airy, MD)

"Freddy was a wonderful man. I knew him in the early 1960s when he was the
director at Hearst Playground. He would always smile, look after all of the kids
and keep us safe. He will be truly missed. There are way too few people like
Freddy anymore...." John "Catfish" Wentzell (Columbia, SC)

"I grew up next to the Kramers on Devin Place. It was such a special
neighborhood and Fred made it even more special. He always had a smile and
funny story to tell, and was not afraid to have fun. Fred was a truly kind person
who did not have a mean..." Nancy Privette Kimbrough (Charlotte, NC)

"Our gang from Blessed Sacrament School virtually lived at the Chevy Chase
Playground when Freddie was the Assistant Director there in the '50s. We felt
betrayed by the Recreation Dept. when he was transferred as the Director to
Hearst but often..." Henry Partridge (Glen Head, NY)

"One of the greatest dads I had the privilege to know. Fondest memories -
Dominics and baseball." Cristen DiLallo (Silver Spring, MD)
