CHARLES JAMES CHARUHAS
Charles James Charuhas, 89, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011.
He was the husband of Mary Harris Charuhas, his wife of 59 years. A
Washington, D.C. native, graduated Roosevelt High School, served in WWII as
an US Army Staff Sergeant, worked for 38 years in the civil rights division at the
US Department of Justice. Following retirement he worked 20 years at the
Needwood Golf Course in MD.
Funeral service will be Monday, January 10, at 12:00 noon , Saints Peter and
Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 920 W. 7th St., Frederick, MD.
The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saints Peter and
Paul Greek Orthodox Church at the above address.
