     Paul Francis Cain, on December 15, 2011, loving
husband, father, and grandfather Paul Francis Cain
peacefully entered Heaven.

     He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Joan Runion
, of Colesville, MD; his children Theresa Argandona
(Andrew) of Alexandria, VA; Patricia Cain Pitkin (Douglas)
of Washington, DC; and Paul (Christina) of Pasadena, MD; and three
grandchildren Ayden, Brendan, and Megan. In addition, he leaves a brother,
Joseph Cain (Margaret); a sister, Laura Green (Bob); and 13 nieces and
nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John J.
Cain and Bernard L. Cain and his sister, Sr. Patricia Cain, MM.

     Paul was born in Washington, DC and lived in the area his entire life. He
graduated from
Gonzaga College High School, and received an accounting
degree from the Benjamin Franklin School of Accountancy, which later
merged with The George Washington University. He served in the U.S. Army
from 1953 to 1955, at Ft. Campbell, KY. He became a Certified Public
Accountant in 1958. After working for Millard T. Charlton and Associates for
several years, he joined Henry M. Witt, Inc. until his semi-retirement in 1999.

     Paul stayed active despite health battles over the past few years. He
enjoyed traveling with his wife to most of the states east of the Rockies,
watching sports, and visits with his family and friends. He was a member of St.
John the Baptist Catholic Community in Silver Spring, the American Legion,
and the Woodridge Club. His family and friends will greatly miss his humor,
wisdom, and kindness.

     Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University
Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking), Monday, from 3 - 5 p.m.
and 7 - 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist
Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday,
December 20, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's name to the Maryknoll
Sisters, P. O. Box 317, Maryknoll, NY, 10545-0317, or to the Wounded
Warrior Project, 7020 A.C. Skinner Pkwy, Suite 100, Jacksonville, FL 32256
