Martin J. Sari, Sr. Passed away August 22nd, 2011 following a brief
illness, surrounded by family. Born in Washington, DC, he grew up an athlete
and scholar educated by the Jesuit Fathers at both Gonzaga High School and
Catholic University.
He was a man of integrity gifted with a quick intellect and a generous
nature, and he was widely known for his prominent-yet-subtle sense of humor.
Marty is survived by his wife of 53 years, Norma, son Martin Jr., sister Anne
Sari, and many nephews and nieces.
He will be remembered with a wide smile by all who knew him even
casually, and he will be forever loved and missed by his family. A private
service was held.
