GEORGE CHARLES O''CONNOR, JR. Passed away on June 14, 2010 at his
home in Haymarket, VA. Born in Washington, DC on August 4, 1937, he was
a graduate of
Gonzaga High School and Georgetown University.

George was an avid reader, historian, story teller and sportsman. An
entrepreneurial Irishman, whose business interests during his lifetime ranged
from plumbing, water and sewer construction, bar owner and auto sales to
owner of the Toy Store, an independent used-auto dealer, in Manassas,
Virginia.

He was the son of the late George and Marie O''Connor. He was preceded in
death by grandson Rory Gentile and brother in law Ricky Glaze. Survivors
include his loving wife Barbara O''Connor and his children, son George
O''Connor III (Laura); daughters, Kathleen O''Connor (Tom Killeen), Beth
O''Connor, Molly O''Connor (Fred Gentile), Megan Cipriano (Brian), Theresa
Flores (Julio); brothers, Thomas O''Connor (Catherine) and John Timothy
O''Connor (MaryAnn); sisters, Julia Horman (Gene), Mary Ellen Glaze,
Anne-Marie Kleinman (Ron) and Joan O''Connor (Dave Waldo);
grandchildren, Jonathan, Olivia, Rose, Simone, Caroline, Grace, Kate, Clare,
Dominic, Connor, Declan and Aiden.

He is also survived by former wife Mary Catherine O''Connor, numerous
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010 at
Centreville United Methodist Church, 6400 Old Centreville Rd, Centreville, VA
2012.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Capital
Hospice in memory of George O''Connor and in honor of Martha Hughes
(George''s nurse), Capital Hospice - Manassas Office, 10530 Linden Lakes
Plaza, Manassas, VA 20109.
