Frank Joseph Kellaher, 74, a retired logistics officer with the Central Intelligence Agency, died June 10 of congestive heart failure at a hospital in Cape
Coral, Fla.
Mr. Kellaher was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and grew up in Greenbelt and Beltsville. He graduated from Gonzaga College High School, attended the
University of Maryland and served in the Army in the 1950s.
He spent 28 years with the CIA before retiring in 1989. He then worked as an independent contractor for federal agencies and Boeing. before his second
retirement in 1998.
He lived in Lanham before moving to Florida in 1998.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Helen A. Kellaher of Cape Coral; three daughters, Bonnie Lawson of Bowie, Stacey Szwedo of Owings and Frankie
Jo Kellaher of Parsonsburg, Md.; three brothers, Bill Kellaher of Severna Park, Steve Kellaher of Phoenix and Patrick Kellaher of Waldorf; three sisters,
Alice Ginter and Eileen Tate, both of Crofton, and Marie Taccino of Cumberland, Md.; and nine grandchildren.
