RITA GREENSTONE FARKAS (Age 80) May 19,
1934 - July 6, 2014 Passed peacefully at home on
July 6, 2014 at her home in Vienna, VA surrounded by
her loving family.
Rita was the daughter of Irving and Rose Greenstone.
Rita was born and raised in Washington, DC and
graduated from Eastern High School (1952) and
the University of Maryland.
She met her future husband, Bernard Farkas, at a
dance in Fort Belvoir, VA and were married
September 15, 1957.
Rita is survived by her husband Bernard Farkas, a daughter Donna Farkas Hoffman
and two sons Michael Farkas and Robert Farkas along with six grandchildren:
Lauren, Will, Jamie, Tyler, Lana, and Lola.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 11 a.m. at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee
Hwy., Falls Church, VA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Hospital Association.
