Mrs. Alscher was a loan officer for 25 plus years with banks. She enjoyed ceramics,
crocheting, embroidery, and reading. In her early years, she was known as a great
swimmer at
Eastern High School (1942) in Washington, DC and worked with Warner
Brothers Studios in film distribution. She was an avid Redskins fan and enjoyed being
at home in her house. She especially loved being with family.

She is the daughter of the late Sigmund R. Milbrandt and the late Adele Milbrandt. She
is also predeceased by her late husband, Kurt A. Alscher; and one late sister, Jeannette
Adams.

She is survived by one son, William Frederick Eichmann of Waldorf, MD; one daughter,
Adele Rose (Joseph) Eley of Leesburg, VA; one brother, Sigmund R. (Donna) Milbrandt
of Sterling, VA; two grandchildren, William F. and Brian R. Eichmann; two
great-grandchildren, Brian and Hunter Eichmann.

Her Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 5-8PM with Funeral
Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD
20646). Clergy will be Rev. Mark Roberson. Her Interment will follow on Wednesday,
November 28, 2012 at 10AM at MD Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD.
