Gilbert L. Rollman, "Buddy", of Annapolis, died May 27, 2012
Born on June 17, 1932, in Washington, DC, Buddy graduated
from Eastern High School (1950) and served in the U.S.
Army during the Korean War. He worked at the former
Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company for over 30
years. After retiring, Buddy worked for several different
communication companies.
He was a Life Member of the VFW and a member of the
American Legion. He was also an avid Redskins fan who
held season tickets for 42 years.
Buddy is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara Rollman;
two sons, Rick (Kathy) and Brett (Robin) Anderson; one
grandson, Tony Anderson; three sisters-in-law; three
brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends are invited to Buddy's Life Celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.,
Thursday, May 31 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd,
Edgewater where Buddy's funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, June 1.
Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815
