CONSTANCE IONA COLLINS March 22, 1930 - March 22, 2015  

Constance Iona Collins passed away on March 22, 2015
at Sentara-RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA.

She was born in Richmond, VA and attended
Eastern
High School (1948)
in Washington DC. She worked at
the Immigration Department in Washington DC after
graduating.

Constance lived in DC area most of her adult life raising
five children with her husband, Dan in Fort Washington
MD and Oakton VA before relocating to Bridgewater
VA in 2005.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Eva Cosby; sister, Laverne
Cosby, husband, Dan Collins; son, Timothy Collins; granddaughter, Jenny Powers,
and grandson, Michael Lewis.

She is survived by daughter Connie Lewis of Warrenton VA, daughter Dee Ann
Pallais and her husband Don of Richmond, VA, daughter Beth Evans and her
husband Jeff of Blue Grass VA, Son Daniel Collins and her grandsons Deives, Aidan
and Riley Collins with whom she resided in Bridgewater, granddaughters Jill Lewis
and Mandy Pallais, great granddaughters Destiny and Haley Powers.

Constance was a very sincere Christian who devoted herself to Bible study every day.
She enjoyed painting and drawing in different mediums and played the piano
regularly.

A Funeral service will be held Friday, April 3, 2015, 1 p.m. at Quantico National
Cemetery.
