Passed away peacefully at Hillhaven in Adelphi MD on Wednesday, September 2,
2015 in her 78th year.
Dear wife of 60 years of Thomas "Dutch" Holland; mother of Donald (Carol) Holland,
Paul (Becky) Holland, Judy (David) Sohl, and Cindy (Marty) O'Dea; proud grandmother
of 12; also survived by her brother, Charles Carlson.
Predeceased by her sister Fay Boss.
She was a longtime resident of Washington, DC, graduating from Eastern High
School in December, 1955, just in time for a February wedding. While raising four
children, she was an administrative assistant at Goddard Space Flight Center.
Barbara enjoyed road trips with her husband and Community Bible Study (CBS).
Relatives and friends may call at Borgwardt Funeral Home, 4400 Powder Mill Road,
Beltsville, MD on Monday, September 7, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at Darnestown Presbyterian Church, 15120 Turkey Foot
Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, on Tuesday, at 11 a.m.
Interment in church cemetery.
