THERESA EUGENIA GEORGE OHTERSEN
Theresa "Teddy" Eugenia George Ohtersen passed peacefully
surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, August 29, 2009.
Teddy was preceded in death by her loving husband Alfred R.
Ohtersen, Sr. and is survived by two daughters, Candice R. Isherwood and
Diana T. Ohtersen; one son, Alfred "Rudy" Ohtersen, Jr.; three
grandchildren, Joshua, Alexa and Benjamin; and one great-grandchild, Elijah.
A tribute memorial will be held on Friday, September 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the
ROBERT E. EVANS FUNERAL HOME, Bowie, MD. Funeral
services will be held, 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, at Fort Myer
Memorial Chapel, Arlington National Cemetery.
Teddy enjoyed writing poetry, painting, reading, gardening, researching
family history and all nature offered. Teddy was a beautiful person inside
and out, had the most infectious laugh, magical eyes and will be forever
missed by her family and countless friends.
Teddy was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of The Nile, The
Georgia Salzburger Society and volunteered at the White House, during the
Clinton Administration.
