LAMP, SANTA C., age 90, died at her home
in Pasadena, MD, Monday, January 16, 2012.
She was born August 29, 1921 in Washington,
DC to the late Carmelo and Caterina Sparacino. She
attended Stuart Junior High School and graduated
from Eastern High School in 1941.
Santa served as a Supervisory Accounting Assistant – Deputy Chief
for the US Treasury Department for 22 years. On September 24, 1950,
she was united in marriage to Donald E. Lamp in Washington, DC. They
were married for 31 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family
and friends, watching her soap operas, playing sudoku, crossword and
jigsaw puzzles, shopping, ceramic's and going to the slots.
Mrs. Lamp is preceded by her husband and her brother, Anthony
Sparacino. She is survived by her children, Catherine Lamp, Donna
Sohinki, Carmel Macey, Eddie Lamp, Janice Trivett, Bonnie Johnson,
and Carol Nicholas; her brothers, Charles and Joseph Sparacino; her
grandchildren, Tina and Levitt O'Dell (Catherine), Jonathan, Daniel and
Matthew Sohinki (Donna), Christine Easton, Jennifer Tate, Jillian and
Kiel Macey (Carmel), Bobbie Jo and Starr Lamp (Eddie), Sheri Dean,
Jason and Matthew Trivett (Janice); and 15 great-grandchildren, Alexis,
Carmel, Catarina, Regina, Reece, Grace, Kayla, Connor, Zachary,
Madisyn, Aiden, Olivia, Zephyr, Ashley and Clint.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 18th,
between 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services,
PA, 1 2nd Avenue S.W. (at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, A Funeral
Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist on Thursday at 11 AM,
followed by a burial service at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
