Raymond Edward Randolph 
Raymond Edward Randolph, 75, a supervisor with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, died Dec. 14, 2005  of respiratory failure at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring. He lived in Riverdale.
Mr. Randolph worked for Metro for 38 years, beginning as a streetcar driver in 1953. He later drove buses and spent most of his career as a supervisor before retiring in 1991.
He was born in Washington and graduated from  Eastern High School. He was in the Army from 1948 to 1952 and later served five years in the National Guard.
While working at Metro, Mr. Randolph was also a volunteer bus driver for the Melwood Horticultural Training Center, a program for disabled adults in Prince George's County.
He enjoyed nature and working on his computer.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Barbara E. Randolph of Riverdale; four children, Diana L. Cain of Snellville, Ga., Terry R. Randolph of Chesapeake Beach, Gary E. Randolph of Sterling and Renee Marks of Landover Hills; a brother, William Randolph of Paris, Ky.; a sister, Barbara Jean Canole of Hyattsville; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
