MARIE RUTH SAUNDERS (Age 75)
Of Forestville, MD, died on February 14, 2011 at Shady Grove
Hospital.
She was born July 16, 1935 in Washington, DC to the late Marie and
Everett Golihew and married to the late Stephen Saunders. Survived by
children, Therese, Paul and Laura; many grandchildren, one
great-grandchild, sister, Clair; brother, Everett; several nieces and
nephews.
Marie graduated from Eastern Senior High School, Washington, DC
in 1953 and Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 1957.
Marie worked for Prince Georges County Government for 30 years.
She was a life-long member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.
Memorial service will be held at National Lutheran Home, Rockville,
MD on March 5 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St Matthew's Lutheran Church, 309 E
St., NW, Washington, DC 20001.
