Lois L. Denison, 92, who worked 35 years for Riggs National Bank in Washington before retiring as an assistant cashier in
1977, died of congestive heart failure Feb. 4 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. She lived at Asbury Methodist Village in
Gaithersburg.
Ms. Denison was a fourth-generation native Washingtonian and a 1928 graduate of Eastern High School.
She was a member of the National Association of Bank Women and a former Sunday school teacher at Foundry United
Methodist Church and Ryland United Methodist Church, both in Washington.
In 1990, she moved from Washington to Gaithersburg, where she became a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She
also volunteered at the Williamsburg Clothes Closet of Asbury Village.
She leaves no immediate survivors.
